I can’t believe the Oscars is tomorrow and I haven’t written anything about my favorite looks from this year’s awards season! So before we get the live telecast of the Oscars, here’s a quick look back at some of the wonderful dresses we’ve seen on the red carpet this year so far…

At the Golden Globes

This was the first awards show of the year and where the stars first showed their support of the Time’s Up movement by wearing black to the event. Though it was very monochromatic on the red carpet, it was still a delight to see how the celebrities put their own spin on the black color motif.

The kids totally killed it that night. There was Sadie Sink of Stranger Things who looked adorable in her Miu Miu dress. It had a 1950s glamour vibe to it but was still age appropriate.

Then there was little fashionista, Millie Bobbie Brown, who is slowly but surely gaining her style-icon status. She enjoys taking fashion risks and that is very evident in what she wears on the red carpet. Her Calvin Klein By Appointment dress looked so cool with a fully covered poofy front and a really low back.

The beaded jumpsuit of Susan Kelechi Watson of This Is Us looked like a lot of fun to wear and she looked really confident in it. Very Studio 54.

My girl Giuliana Rancic in her sparkling Sherri Hill number looked amazing. Of course, only someone with a body like hers can pull off this outfit. Loved the shiny matte effect of the fabric and the halter top/razor back design plus the little peek-a-boo in the front.

I also really liked the Oscar de la Renta dress of Greta Gerwig. I thought the whimsical neckline was really cool and very artsy. The gold neckpiece really completed the look.

At the Screen Actors Guild Awards
Color came back on this red carpet and it really added life to some of the patterns and designs.
Allison Williams looked stunning in her Ralph & Russo creation. The material and detailing on her dress were amazing.
The print on the skirt of Natalia Dryer’s Dior Couture dress was so cool.
And I really liked the floral pattern on Vanessa Kirby’s Valentino dress.
Mandy Moore looked incredible in her bright blue Ralph Lauren dress.
Sydelle Noel of Black Panther totally rocked color with her bright yellow Leanne Marshall outfit.

Looking forward to what everyone will be wearing to the Oscars! And hoping for a lot of color!
