Move over Jeane Napoles: The Superstar Lifestyle of the Son of Jinggoy Estrada

If you think Lani Mercado’s luxury bags have overstepped the bounds of the “modest lives” that a public servant is expected to lead, wait ’til you see the Instagram posts of Senator Jinggoy Estrada’s son Jolo Ejercito.

These were first brought to our attention when the pork barrel scam exploded last year and the daughter of Janet Napoles was making the news with her Christian Louboutins.

But it seems it’s not only the ladies – wives and daughters – of those accused in the pork barrel scam who have been splurging on shoes. Jolo publicly posted this photo of his pairs of LVs just before the pork barrel scam went viral. (This Instagram account has since been deleted and he now uses a private Instagram account with the handle JosephLuisMan.)

While these are not as expensive as Ms. Napoles’ Louboutins, which are around P175,000.00, they are not your ordinary pair of loafers either. A pair of LV Monte Carlo loafers (or like styles) cost around $660 USD or around P30,000.00.

To be fair, that is something that the kid could afford himself as an actor. The third generation Estrada joined showbiz a couple of years ago and he may have purchased this using his talent fee.

But could this evening in the Presidential Suite of the Manila Hotel be because of showbiz as well? The rate per night at the Presidential Suite of Manila Hotel is P95,798.00++ or roughly P100,000. Per night. That rate does not include the bottle lying by the bath tub.

It’s not only the Manila Hotel where Jinggoy’s son has partied. His Instagram posts also showed a good time at Solaire.

Once again, to be fair, because he seems like a genuinely nice kid, the chips from Solaire appear to have just been for an innocent birthday bash. Perhaps sponsored by the hotel as a gesture of goodwill? Maybe it was just a lucky night.

He must truly be a lucky kid because he even has a diplomatic passport! While his father is entitled to a diplomatic passport as senator of the Republic, a son who is no longer a minor is not entitled to this privilege according to RA 8239.

Or maybe he doesn’t need a passport at all. Check out the interiors of this private jet. The question is: who owns this?

Diplomatic passports and they don’t fly commercial. The truly enviable life of the rich and porky.

Senator Jinggoy Estrada surrendered himself to authorities on Monday, June 23, for charges of plunder and graft. He insists that he is innocent and that the charges are a political ploy against strong contenders for the 2016 presidential elections. Arraignment has been set for June 30.

i am just a middle class citizen, owning an expensive purse rhatvof lani mercado is achievable this days as credit cards offers 12 months zero interest. so, whats wrong with that?

  • Jeane Sartre says June 28, 2014 at 1:33 pm

I’m also a middle class citizen but I would NOT buy me an expensive purse even though I have a credit card. That would lead to so much problem later.

  • Mars Pluto says July 7, 2014 at 7:39 am

There’s nothing wrong with owning one… but that is not the issue. We are talking about their lifestyle, super extravagant lifestyle. For sure, your credit card cannot afford the lifestyle we are talking about here.

  • John says June 24, 2015 at 8:27 am

The issue here is that a public servant cannot make that much money from their salary alone. You get the idea how they are able to afford all of this expensive lifestyle, and a diplomat passport.

To all my country men I urge you to contribute in your own way on how to condemn all the family members (wive, sons & daughters) of the Senatong & Tongressman plunderer by kidnapping then and demanded their parents plunderer to return all their loot in exchange for their liberty.
If nobody will do a patriotic move against these plunderer all Filipino will end up being plundered by these modern thieves. I myself given a chance to see any of the family member of these plunderer will surely take action to force their plunderer member to return the money they loot.

Wow….I can feel what you feel. I myself, am tempted to act on your righteous suggestions. You are a very brave and conscientious man. I do truly admire you. I am on your side. I think your plans would work.
BUT….foremost, you would deeply hurt yourself. These powerful enemies of the state will eat you for breakfast (lunch and supper too). Secondly, you will stain your beautiful spirit….so pure and unselfish. The “baggage” will be in your heart forever, simply unbearable. Thirdly, your whole family and friends will be sucked into the game of death. We both don’t want that to happen. Last but not the least, nature will take its due course. Believe you me, all their wealth and material possessions don’t MAKE them. It is their CURSE. They don’t enjoy it, not for a nanosecond. Because it was stolen, and because people are aware they were stolen. It is much, much worse than wearing a fake Rolex watch.
I wish to be your friend, here on Facebook. Please add me. Thank you.

  • Lupa Loops says July 7, 2014 at 11:06 am

Bago sana ipatupad ni Kim Henares ang right implementation of collecting taxes, kalusin muna ang mga magnanakaw ng buwis!!!

Truly wealthy and educated children of truly wealthy parents do not have the need to post such tacky photos of themselves wearing LVs and the likes- to have to post them online is saying your telling the whole world you do better than them and should be admired because you are wearing/having an expensive lifestyle..a sign of so much insecurity really and not being used to having such. Worse, its not even your money! Having a dad like they have, I don’t expect them to have grown up to have class and dignity and delicadeza. Makapal lang mukha. They should have been educated eversince to be sensitive to other peoples needs as they are children of a public servant who should have been beyond suspicions of corruptions (well now we know better that in fact their family have been doing it for generations). They have no sense of humility–diyan pa lang..why would you even vote and believe this family.

BWISET!!!
