  • Sec. Dureza: On the stalled talks between the CPP, NPA, NDF – The President made it very clear, when compelling reason should come about for the good of the Filipino people, he will be open to restart the peace talks.
  • Sec. Dureza: The royal gov’t of Norway provides all the logistic support, except for the round trip ticket which is paid for by the government panel.
  • Sec. Dureza: The calamity is not a time for propaganda. I do not want to preempt the President regarding the peace talks. The President listens to everybody but he makes the final judgment call.
  • Sec. Dureza: We are still trying to maintain openness on both sides.
  • There will be an activity Shoot for Peace and for Love in Cotabato City teams from the MILF, MNLF, MILITARY, AFP and the Media.
