  • I am candidating for congress to serve again, not for speakership.
  • I am not for the anti-dynasty law. If people want us to serve, we will serve.
  • On agriculture – it needs more budget. Lalo na sa health – it has to be preventive rather than reactive.
  • Walang progresibong Bansa na mahirap Ang local government.
  • Now is not the time to amend the constitution or change in the form of government.
  • Amending the constitution: Only the economic provisions need amending. Also the VP needs to be given something to do. From the start, the VP must be given a substantial job that supports the administration.
  • Local government: 3 years is not enough to serve the people. 1st year, you’re just starting and learning the ropes. 2nd year, that’s when you really start working. 3rd year, you end up politicking to extend your term.
  • He’s been a founding dean of law sa university of Makati, after leaving politics.
  • For law students, the university of Makati subsidizes the students [80k a year].
