Palanca Award-winning essayist Jenny Ortuoste writes newspaper and online columns in a multiple of subjects - opinion and horseracing for Manila Standard-Today, and now literary for Manila Speak. She also hosts weekly radio programs on DZIQ and DWBL, and was a former horseracing announcer on cable TV. She works full-time in the public sector while completing her dissertation for a PhD Communication degree at the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
