Arch. Toni Vasquez is an alumna from the University of Santo Tomas. Her undergraduate thesis was bagged the title of Thesis of the Year in 2007. Her thesis project, Vista Filipinas, was also one of the four official entries of the Philippines to the Hunter Douglas International Design Competition for the Best Thesis Projects in the World held in Montevideo, Istanbul in 2009.

In her desire to concentrate more on developing her skills, she decided to pursue graduate studies in the New Jersey Institute of Technology as a Provost Scholar from 2008 to 2010. Upon graduating, she moved to Los Angeles, California to work at the Italian architectural firm Bondanelli Design Group. She also served as design critic in the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for their Masteral Program in Architecture and Interior Design.

In 2010, she returned to the country to rejoin T.I. Vasquez Architects and Planners, Inc. (TVA&P) to serve as the Managing Director of the firm’s Cebu branch and as Vice President for International Standards. Under her leadership and direction, TVA&P Cebu has become one of the strongest and most respected names in the architectural scene in regions south of Manila.

She is currently an active member of the United Architects of the Philippines. She is also an associate member of the American Institute of Architects in New York.
